Running a weeee bit late on this week's, but it will be up today. No worries, gang. It's just mah birthday week and I've had things going on pretty much non stop. Soon as I get up, coloring shall commence and it shant be long. The worst bit is over.

So this week's strip is up. I'm kind of irked, because I had planned on it being a 2 strip update kind of week. I had everything all drawn up early, had it set aside and ready to color. Then I came back to it, and I realized I didn't like the look of the main character's ass. I mean, it was huge. Like super-de-fucking-duper huge. I even busted out my light box to try and fix it with a quick trace job on the original artwork, and it looked like shit. So I then scrapped it, and tried something else. Well THAT didn't work either. So I had to completely start from scratch and lo and behold, I got what I wanted. Jeez. At least it's posted. Not like y'all can fault me for not updating regularly =P Neener.
This week's strip, "Prima Donna", is the first of MANY anime-industry cameo favorites you will see in the coming weeks. You might recognize the two artists talking with the new 'antagonist'. Can you guess who they are
I should also mention that Otaku-no- Yen is now FIVE YEARS OLD! Can you believe it? We've been around 5 years. That thought scares the crap out of me. But to those of you who have read from the start, thank you SO much for your ongoing love and support. For those of you new to the comic, hell we're just glad you're reading. And no matter what, we hope you continue to enjoy what we do. Because we do. =) And in honor of our birthday, I'd like to post the long overdue Otaku-no-Yen theme song. Just wanted to let you lovely kiddies that this week's comic is already up and will go live Friday. I wanted to do 2 updates this week, but life has gotten in the way. So you will have to make do with 1, and maybe I will get the second one up some time early next week. Sound good?
Today's comic is posted, and would have been posted last night when it was finished, except for our lovely internet provider was giving us some trouble. I could doink around on the laptop with our air card, but that was about it. So, lo and behold, new comicage.
